Hi, I’m Jana

I’m a systems and product designer with experience delivering impactful experiences for design systems, customer-facing products, and associate-facing tools

I’m currently a Staff Product Designer, leading the Education Design System (EDS) at Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. Lately, my work has included themeing EDS for new brands, architecting component/ libraries, and defining the system’s vision and roadmap.

In previous roles, my work has included building design systems training and defining the system’s adoption experience for a design org of 700+ designers at Capital One. I also have experience as a traditional product designer, designing multi-channel servicing experiences for 46+ million customers across Capital One’s largest customer and agent tools platforms.

I share my experiences as a designer through writing and speaking. I most recently presented at Config 2023 in San Francisco, California.
